Relief Partners Uganda

Relief Partners Uganda is a Non-Governmental Organization, we address the world’s first Sustainable Development Goal-No Poverty. Relief Partners Uganda’s passion and specialty is to eradicate ultra-poverty in rural communities. We emphasize engagement, inclusion, participation and capacity enhancement of the poor to attain and sustain self-sufficiency.

Relief Partners Uganda’s work is based on three broad Thematic areas;

Our Mission

To eradicate ultra-poverty in rural communities by empowering vulnerable people through sustainable livelihood programs and lasting transformation.

Our Vision

A self-sufficient society where individuals and communities live dignified, productive, and hopeful lives free from extreme poverty, vulnerability, and injustice.

Our Objectives

  • A self-sufficient society where people lead dignified lives.
  • To build communities whose inhabitants have the capacity to solve their own problems.
  • To enhance people’s mindset to seize opportunities for self-reliance
  • To empower rural women, through inspiring, and helping them to start and sustain enterprises in agriculture, trade, and crafts-making to eradicate ultra- poverty.
  • To promote Youth agripreneurship so as to equip rural youth with the latest developed innovations in agriculture, encourage them to utilize them, and enhance their farming skills hence reducing youth unemployment.
  • To promote sustainable nature-friendly human practices which protect and preserve the environment so as to mitigate climate change, restore and maintain ambient climate suitable for agriculture and settlement.
